An industrial router is a durable device used to connect two or more networks, the difference between an industrial router and a home router. The signal can be transmitted only to the desired port. The difference between an industrial router and a home router. The price is cheaper than the household level, the function is stable and powerful.

I. Home Router:

1. Home routers are relatively cheap. The advantages are that it is suitable for large-scale enterprise network connections and can adopt complex topologies, load sharing and optimal routing. It can be a router, a switch, or a PC. If the host devices on the same network segment communicate with each other, packets need to be sent to the device only when the host devices on other network segments communicate with each other, and then forwarded or routed through the device.

II. Industrial router:

1. Compared with home routers, industrial routers are superior in this aspect and can satisfy more people's high-speed Internet access. Industrial routers mostly use high main frequency network dedicated processors, strong data processing capacity, longer transmission distance, larger coverage area, can greatly improve the transmission speed and throughput capacity of the network, and the operation is very stable.

2. High forwarding performance and high bandwidth: general industrial routers are mostly used for data transmission and other functions, and there are hundreds of them. If the wireless Internet access needs of so many people are to be met at the same time, the forwarding performance and bandwidth of routers have high requirements. However, household routers have low density, low signal strength, small coverage, limited forwarding performance and band capacity.

3. Rich routing protocols: Industrial routers generally have multiple security services and more rich routing protocols, such as SNMP, static router, policy router, unified management protocol, etc. Through these protocols, industrial routers can ensure the secure operation of the network and protect user data from being stolen.
